Mary Grosswendt was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA and plans to graduate with a BA in Journalism and Cinema Studies from the University of Oregon in Spring of 2024. 

From an early childhood, Mary would get lost in contact sheets from her parents’ photography. This ultimately guided her passion for image making. Whether it’s involving herself in publications on campus, writing/directing short films, or immersing herself in the music scene, Mary finds a way to capture a moment through image and film.

Collaborating in any creative capacity draws Mary forward in her craft. She is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere and Indesign.
